GRADEBOOK PLUS LICENSING INFORMATION

If you purchased the Gradebook Plus - Macintosh Edition building site license, you can make copies of the disk or set up folders on a single computer for all the teachers at the school site who would like to use this program. When teachers receive their disks, they will first have to change the teacher's name to their own using "Change Program Setup" as described earlier in the manual.

If you purchased the Gradebook Plus - Windows Edition building site license, you can you can make copies of the disk o repeat the installation procedure for all the teachers at the school site who would like to use this program. If performing multiple installations on the same computer, when asked to "Select Destination Directory" and "Select Windows Program Group", use different locations and names for each teacher. You should have a separate copy of the program and class data file for each teacher in their own folder or working subdirectory. When they run the program, they will first have to change the teacher's name to their own using "Change Program Setup" as described earlier in the manual.

What about manuals?

A Gradebook Plus building site license allows a school to make copies of the manual for all of the teachers at your site.

What about installation on a network?

A Gradebook Plus building site license allows a school to install the program on a network as well as on individual computers.

Can I use the program both at home and at school?

Yes. Both individual and building site license users may use the program both at home and at school.

The unmonitored granting of a building license in an attempt to save schools' money is an experimental policy. Please do not violate the agreement and provide disks to people at another school site. Only one person at each school should be responsible for making copies of Gradebook Plus disks and manuals, testing the copies and distributing the disks and manuals to teachers.

UNDER THE TERMS OF PURCHASING GRADEBOOK PLUS, INDIVIDUALS MAY MAKE COPIES FOR ARCHIVAL PURPOSES, AND SCHOOLS THAT PURCHASE A BUILDING SITE LICENSE MAY MAKE COPIES FOR USE BY TEACHERS ONLY AT A SINGLE SITE.
