New Functionalities

• Special password that allows TA to enter a new set of scores, but not have access to other functions
• Special password that allows a remote user to view an individual's score (followed by dialog asking ID number and password of student and choice of specific class or all classes. The report display characteristics can be set by the teacher.
• Option to treat missing grade as "F-" to not penalize student as much as a zero would
• Email users a password to unlock Mystery Report after receiving registration. Until unlocked, report menu displays 'Mystery Report' and dialog prompts user to email in registration

Save As A Text File (Export)

• Replace 123 format with user specified text file format.
• Include teacher name, class code, and section code
• Save all database data into separate fields
• Remove commas before saving as a text file

On-Screen Gradebook

• Edit ID numbers on-screen
• Option to show both name and ID number on-screen
• Edit attendance totals on-screen and update attendance penalty

Manual

• Explain that future Mac version will retrieve and save class files in Windows format for cross-platform compatibility
• Improve explanation on how to save and retrieve files (binary vs. text)
• Explain how to use comments for citizenship and effort grades, how to flag late assignments, and how to use at both home and at school

Add A New Student (and Edit A Student)

• Fields for student email address, student password, and student web file name
• Auto assign seat if not specified and auto change previously assigned seat seat if duplicate specified (0,0 to not display a student)
• Reorder student names to any location in list
• Add field to store and edit individual student report comments and verify valid entry if edited

Enter A Set Of Scores (and Edit A Set Of Scores)

• Radio buttons to select category. Include default button for "Automatic Matching"
• Date of entry field for entries
• Message in dialog on how titles are parsed into categories using teacher's specified categories
• If category ends in "s", ignore the "s" when parsing
• Typing ESC during score entry cancels entry & reverts to previous score and selects entry

Edit Comments

• Variable in comments to switch gender (<his/her> ,<he/she>) and insert student's first name (<NAME>). Use "the student's" if no gender specified for student.

Change Grading Scale

• Automatically sort grades by cutoff if not entered in strictly declining order including eliminating blank fields

Remove A Class

Drop Lowest Score

• Adjust algorithm so score that lowers overall percentage the most gets dropped

• Default text file name to class code (if used) or class## instead of *
